SOCIAL SKILLS - Everyone could benefit from a great social skills class to learn how to navigate and be supported through life’s daily challenges, including the current world we are all living in. How many times have you sought advice or counsel on what to do or say in certain situations?
*Social Skills Classes at Just For Kids build social skills upon some or all of the following topics: social etiquette, positive personality attributes, social emotional well being, Sensory Strategies, individuality, friendship; making friends, keeping friends, being a friend, loneliness, alone time, creativity, problem solving, coping with change, socializing virtually, (personal space?) social justice, and being a champion.
Discussion, crafts, games, self expression and more.
*All classes at Just For Kids will be held virtually until further notice.
COOKING CLASS - Whether participating in a single class or a class series, cooking involves so many skills including organizing, finding and gathering ingredients and equipment, listening, reading (for older kids), visual- perceptual skills for measuring, fine motor coordination and strength, focusing attention, social interaction and more!
